The Wi-Fi card's firmware boots and scans

The runtime's own driver for the laptop's Intel Wireless-AC 9560, the crate iwl9560, runs on formeo under Debian with the card handed to it through VFIO; the same crate builds into the runtime. Firmware 46.7e3e4b69.0 boots in 185 ms, the card's NVM gives its MAC address, the regulatory reply leaves 38 channels, and a scan of those 38 channels takes 3.3 s and finds the six to eight networks around, at signal levels within a few dB of Linux's.

Two more pieces are tested on the Mac, against a simulated access point, and wait for the hardware: the WPA2-PSK supplicant (crate wpa), whose cryptography also passes the published IEEE and RFC test vectors, and the 802.11 station (crate wifi) with scanning, authentication, association, the handshake, Ethernet frames to and from 802.11, saved networks, and the wifi host command that Genera's Wi-Fi commands use. Joining a network under VFIO on formeo is next.
